Andrew Cain


Andrew has been a leader in education in Washington State for 24 years. He has earned an Educational Doctorate from the University of Washington in Organizational Leadership, a Master of Education from Seattle Pacific University, and Bachelors of Arts in History and Education from Seattle Pacific University. He has served as President of the Association of Middle Level Principal in Washington State, participates in an elite group of nationally recognized educators, researchers, and authors semi-annual to study educational theory, and was recognized in 2016 as the Olympic Region Middle School Principal of the Year by the Association of Washington School Principals.  Andrew has been Principal of Cedar Heights Middle School, an International Baccalaureate World Middle School, for the last 13 years.  The school was recognized as a School of Distinction  by Washington State in 2015. As part of his leadership responsibilities, he has chaired the process of developing the implementation plan for his school district’s K-12 Spanish Immersion program.
